Usage tips

Break the ampoule and insert the capillary applicator inside to draw up the Verrutop. Apply directly to the wart, ensuring direct contact with the lesion. In most cases, an immediate lightening of the wart is observed. If necessary, the application can be repeated 1 to 2 times in the same session. The patient should return for a follow-up appointment within the timeframe defined by the doctor, for evaluation of the warts' progress and possible further applications, if justified.

Isdin Verrutop is a painless, effective, precise, and easy-to-apply treatment for warts. It offers high efficacy with a reduced number of applications for palmoplantar warts, periungual warts, and condylomas.

After application to the wart, there is a change in color (from whitish to brownish) and a hardening of the affected tissue. This process stimulates the renewal of skin cells and facilitates the progressive detachment of the wart. As the skin regenerates, the wart eventually disappears.

It has been shown to be superior to cryotherapy in reducing viral DNA in warts (HPV1/HPV2: 60% vs. 0%).
