In all cases where surgical treatment is not necessary and the status of HPV infection and lesions induced by it should simply be monitored (wait and see recommendation):

1. In case of a positive HPV test, to promote the elimination of the virus.
2. Following a positive cytological diagnosis (Pap smear) to promote the elimination of the virus and prevent HPV-induced carcinogenesis.
4. In cases of low-grade neoplasia (CIN1), to promote regression of the histological diagnosis and to prevent progression to cervical cancer.
5. After surgical treatment of high-grade neoplasia (CIN2-CIN3) to promote the return of normal tissue and prevent relapse.
6. When HPV infection is not present (secondary placement!)
7. In cases of inflammation affecting the cervical/vaginal epithelium, which may lead to cytological changes in epithelial cells (e.g., ASC-US with negative HPV test, ectropion, metaphlogistic lesions)
8. In cases of extensive transformation zones in immature metaplasia to prevent HPV integration.
