Caution is advised when using anticoagulant and antiplatelet medications. It is recommended to discontinue the dose 2 weeks before scheduled surgery. The intake of antibiotics (tetracyclines and quinolones) should be kept as far apart as possible from the intake of zinc supplements. Not recommended for children. Headaches, nausea, or other gastrointestinal disturbances may occur. Not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Consult a healthcare professional if you are taking medication for diabetes.
